Crucially, we've mirrored the profile of the Trig point in all sizes, making the long points of these hooks incredibly sharp. Furthermore, the double tempering process means that although the points are very fine, they are also tough and durable. We also mirrored the bend of the Trig to create a very strong shape.

Heavy forging and proper tempering give the Chod-Hammers hook the right degree of stiffness, making it highly unlikely to open or break. We have slightly increased the eye diameter in this range, which comfortably accommodates hooklink materials with a 25 lb breaking strain. These new hooks have undergone a rigorous testing process with excellent results. They consistently achieve excellent hooking and none of the testers who tried them felt the need to sharpen the points.
