After more than 3 years of development and 2 years of intensive field testing, a new range of LK Baits hooks is being launched, setting new standards in strength, sharpness, and point durability. These hooks are the result of an innovative manufacturing process that delivers significantly stronger hooks with a more durable and long-lasting point.
The key to the excellent properties of the hooks is cryogenic tempering. This process, used for example in precision engineering, such as Formula 1 engine components, improves the molecular structure of the steel. This reduces internal stress and increases overall strength and wear resistance.
Tests of the first prototypes have shown that the new manufacturing process leads to hooks that are 25–30% stronger than standard carp hooks with the same wire diameter. Thanks to this technology, we are able to produce fine and extremely sharp hooks that are now much more durable than ever before.
