After more than 3 years of development and 2 years of intensive field testing, a new range of LK Baits hooks is launched, setting new standards in strength, sharpness, and point durability. Thanks to a new manufacturing process, we offer hooks that are significantly stronger and more durable.

Cryogenic tempering – Technology from Formula 1

We use cryogenic tempering, an advanced process that improves the molecular structure of the steel. This process reduces the internal stress of the material, which leads to increased strength and wear resistance. This technology is commonly used in demanding industries such as the production of Formula 1 engine components.

Test results

Tests on initial samples have shown that this new manufacturing process increases the strength of the hooks by 25–30 % compared to standard carp hooks with the same wire diameter. This allows us to produce fine and extremely sharp hooks that are now much more durable than ever before!
